Hosted in the book-lined library at Moss Cottage in Croughton, near Bicester, this private afternoon tea is set in a 400-year-old cottage with a calm, settled feel and is reserved for just one booking each day.

 

Enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones served with jam and cream, and beautifully homemade cakes, all prepared fresh and served exclusively for you in an unhurried, intimate setting.

 

Choose from our loose-leaf teas, including Yorkshire Gold, Darjeeling, Earl Grey and Assam, alongside a fragrant selection of fruit teas, brewed properly and served at your pace. A chilled glass of English sparkling wine is included to make the occasion feel quietly special.

A Little Note Before You Visit

Cottage Afternoon Tea is served in our much-loved 400-year-old cottage and garden, a wonderfully characterful setting with all the quirks, uneven spaces and delicate features that come with a home of this age.

To ensure that every guest can relax and enjoy the peaceful Afternoon Tea experience, I’m unfortunately unable to welcome dogs or children under the age of 10.

I do hope you understand, and I very much look forward to welcoming you to the cottage for a wonderfully relaxing afternoon.​​​​
